Born in Coventry in 1994, Roxy discovered a love for art from a young age. As a child she accompanied her father on his trips to Kenya. Here, she had many magical experiences. This, combined with her love of Disney, sparked a passion for capturing the unique characters of animals.
However, Roxy pursued higher education in Chemistry with Forensic Science and Toxicology. After graduating with a first-class degree, she took a leap of faith and devoted a year to her art. Her unique circular forms and adorable depictions of wildlife have captured the hearts of many launching her artistic career. Roxy's work aims to spread joy and warmth, while also raising awareness about wildlife conservation. She hopes to inspire others to appreciate and protect our natural world through her art.
“As an artist, I am passionate about creating sculptures that capture the essence of animals in a unique and endearing way. My focus on animals allows me to express my love for nature and wildlife in my artwork, and I work in bronze because of its timeless beauty and durability.
My sculptures are meant to induce feelings of joy and warmth, and I strive to bring an individual personality to my pieces. I believe that art has the power to bring people together and to evoke emotions, and I aim to use my sculptures to bring a smile to people’s faces and to brighten up their day. I have also donated pieces to charity in order to help raise funds and awareness, this is something I am passionate about continuing to do.”
